Fictional Talk (with and about AI)
Part 2/2
A fictional conversation on AI and creativity.
WITH: Joseph Beuys (1921-1986), Susan Sonntag (1933-2004), Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962) and Andy Warhol (1928-1987).
TOPICS, QUESTIONS: How our ideas about creativity are being radically challenged.
Which ethical and moral agreements need to be renegotiated?
REALIZATION: This audio and video blog features real interviews with (living) artists, theorists and hacktivists, as well as fictional discussions with artists and philosophers who have already passed away. In other words, the debate takes place with artistic and artificial intelligence about artificial intelligence.
chatGPT was asked to “slip into” the roles of the deceased persons and answer our questions on the topic of AI from their respective perspectives. We then scanned the voice and the “interviewees” (as well as the voice of the interviewer Gerald Harringer) and had them speak using ElevenLabs' text-to-speech software.
Moderator: Gerald Harringer (*1962).
